It was replaced with a 715 again, but at least I found a 1G sd card with Garmap SSA 2012.3 in it! All in all, good service from Garmin, especially for a unit 2 years out of warranty.

So, I finally received my replacement unit today. Unfortunately it's not the 3590 dasilvarsa mentioned. It was replaced with a 715 again, but at least I found a 1G sd card with Garmap SSA 2012.3 in it!
All in all, good service from Garmin, especially for a unit 2 years out of warranty.

I don't think we have Garmin offices in Bloem, so I sent all the details to support@garmin.co.za. I'll give them a day or two to respond, then try something else.
