Re: Montana sound files

Thanks Jan,

I'll muddle on and try to get things sorted - .wav it is then.

Montana sound files

Am I correct in assuming .wav are the way to go, as opposed to .mp3, for the voice prompts/warnings on my Montana 600?

Anyone that can advise, I'd be mighty grateful...

Thanks,

Paul

Re: RHD on Montana = RHD on Nuvi?

Thanks Jan - I wondered whether I needed the .wav files or the .mp3 files.

I guess you've just answered a question for me!

I'll get onto the link you provided, and see what else I can learn.

Thanks again,

Paul

Re: RHD on Montana = RHD on Nuvi?

Thanks Jan,

I'll give it a bash when I've got enough time to go through the Nuvi forums, not to mention I've yet to fathom out how to load POI and audio files.

I guess it's all in here, I just need to get to the relevant instructions and work it out.

RHD on Montana = RHD on Nuvi?

Well, I guess that means I'd best spend some time on the Nuvi forums...

A very interesting, informative site - I can see I'll be spending a bit of time browsing around it!
