TOPO Southern Africa Light vs. TOPO Southern Africa Pro v3

I was having a look at what Topo maps are available in South Africa.

I need the farm boundaries, rivers, contours etc.

It appears as though Garmin TOPO Southern Africa Pro V3 is going off the market - R 1965.00.

I see that TOPO Southern Africa Light is available at R 265.00.

What is the difference between the two?

The Southern Africa Top PRo V3 maps are based on the original Garmap Data sourced from TOM TOM. The South Africa Topo Lights is an OS based mapset.

I see that Garmin TOPO Southern Africa V3 is still being sold by Cape Union Mart and Outdoor Warehouse. This is not listed on Garmin.Com and Garmin.Co.Za. I wonder why? End of Life?

Can anyone advise which one is better? TOPO Southern Africa Light or TOPO Southern Africa V3?
