Jan thats on MS but im talking about when you drive the road and its the GPS screen...it shows bogger all
Jan Horn wrote:Steve I had a look On MapSource you need to zoom to less than 1.5km before it is visible On the Nuvi 52 you need to zoom to 300m or less. Setting the map detail to more from normal improved that to 500m zoom but it disappeared again at 800m zoom.

Steve apart form logging a problem with Garmin I can from what I found on the Nuvi 52 only recommend that you set the Map detail on your unit to "more" on the 52 you have three options Less, Normal and More. Setting it to the "more" option at least increased the zoom level where unpaved roads become visible to 800m. You can also try, when you experience this to manually zoom in the a higher value. Here is three screen shots to demonstrate what I am saying.
The Nuvi 52 is set to Map detail at "more"

It will take some time to get use to the difference between the two map sets. The tings that made the Nuvi 52 attractive to me was Live time Map updates, Lane assist and Junction view and of occurs the 5 inch screen .
