It just shows that things does not need to be that complicated to work. All you need is the knowledge and the drive and you can accomplish a lot. 8-)

Also, just shows that you don't need the biggest, best, or newest to make a go of things!

Frans,

This is the least I could do for the team. Let's see how things go from here. May we (the team) call on you in the future when something is needed for the forum?

Hi all,

Can I quickly down everything for a while to integrate the UPS's into the system. It shouldn't take too long (+- 1hour), because if I start doing routine maintenance when my missus is at home, her routine maintenance starts falling behind. ;-)

Sure, go ahead. We cannot afford the missus kicking you and the server out of the house.

Mense,

Here it is at last!! Your own forum with at least 115 minutes of backup power from 2 UPS's that powers the firewall, ADSL modem, forum server and 2 switches.

Here is the pic!!

Covers?? What covers??

I tripped the mains to test the UPS's and they held up, although I didn't want to push it. Now I need to talk to the UPS's (binary or geek? dunno which yet) to see all is OK.
