Loaded Life Time Maps voucher, updated the firmware and updated the CN maps to 2012.4 on Monday on a new Nuvi 50 for a friend of mine. Got a message from Garmin express on Wednesday that new updates are available. It may well be for 2014.1

The "Eagle" might have landed, but took off just as quickly.
I was advised through "Garmin Express" that 1 update was available. Followed the route and had a look at what the LifeTime update will cost me. R849, a bit steep this time round, next I tried the current update:

I think they have so many problems with manual downloads that they have decided to make it easier for their users and themselves by creating Express and my dashboard. Have you tried the manual download with your GPS connected to the computer? You will need the latest version of the Garmin Communicator plugin in stalled on your computer though.
