The missing +JV over

city-navigator-maps-updates-and-discuss ... html#p2402

tells me that Junction view gma and unlock files are now incorporated into the Mapset.
I completely removed the 2 files D3529060A.gma and D3529060A.unl from the JCV folder and left only the new D3529100A.jcv file.
Junction view still works perfectly without these 2 files.
It seems that the D3529090A.jcv file was the corrupt culprit, which Garmin then replaced with the new D3529100A.jcv

As Jan, Frans, wrote, it seems that the problem have been solved, with CN maps 2014.40. Updated my Nuvis this morning.

Tried to do a simultaneous update to computer and the Nuvi. Nuvi updated but BC did not. This error message appeared (attached). Will try and update directly to computer only and see what happens.

EDIT - Connect Nuvi to laptop and started BC - Nuvi and BC synchronised and now 2014.4 is on BC. Question - should I ignore the errors or re-do the update??

It is the same error message we got before the problem was resolved. If you can still access the maps via either Basecamp or MapSource without the Nuvi connected then the installation was successful on the computer. If not you can run It again using the Computer only option on Garmin Express. I actually finally used the older Garmin Map Updater program to do my installation. The program in PDF format is just over 4 meg. I wanted to place a downloadable zip file here but due to file size restrictions abandoned that idea. If there is any demand for it we can lift the restriction to enable the download. Garmin Map Updater also give you the option to install on the computer at the time of the upgrade.

Thanks. Tried updating to only the Computer and get the same error. This is really frustrating. Maps are available on the Nuvi and MC, but not on Mapsource which indicates to me that the update was not completely successful?

I will mail Garmin Map Updater to you. Try it. It may help you. It is 4 meg hope your mail box can handle it
