Hi from a Garmin enthusiast

Hi Everyone.
I am so glad I found this forum. I've been looking for updated road hazard data for quite some time.
I bought my first garmin unit when they first landed in SA about 20 years or so. It was the Nuvi 300 and I paid R4800 for it. It was still working and being used daily until I bought a 2497LMT...this week! It was slightly sad returning the Nuvi 300 to its old box. It was a great companion.

Anyway. Good to be part of this forum.

Good to have you here. Welcome we hope to see a lot of you. My first one were a Street Pllot 510 and the a Nuvi 200. Both have been passed on to the Grand Children and is still used daily. The road safety data is updated Monthly by Frans Viljoen who is doing a stellar job in keeping it up to date with data send in by the Forum members.
