"Fake" Metro Police Vehicles

#4361

Post by Phillip Coetser »

Hi guys, Phillip. For information, Tshwane's metro police dep't. has comeup with this idea to make "fake" vehicle's, out of cardboard, and placing them under bridges, in a attempt to help with road safety, and I quote: Isaac Mahamba van die Tshwane-metropolisie het bevestig dis ’n padveiligheidsinisiatief van die Bakwena-padagentskap waarmee hulle spoedoortredings oor die Paastyd wil probeer bekamp. – Wheels24 . Be safe on the roads this Easter weekend.

A clever way to make motorist behave while you sit in the office doing ??????. But it will be only effective in the long range if the fake is randomly substituted by the real thing on a regular basis.
Just imagine all the possibilities. A cut out hole for a speed camera????
