Re: BaseCamp software version 4.7.0
This update is actually a step backwards with all the stuff that's been removed.
No real update since Feb 2016.
Also a real schlepp with Google Earth unless you revert to Google Earth 32 bit and Basecamp 4.6.2.
Why must Earth be open and running before you can use it with Basecamp?
Nee wat, Old school I am.
Still sticking to Mapsource.
Right click and select "View satellite imagery on Maps.google.com" end of story.

Re: BaseCamp software version 4.7.0
Hi guys, Phillip. Yes you're right Frans, with the comment of " This update is actually a step backwards with all the stuff that's been removed." Basecamp version 4.6.2 exe. installation files was 100Mb and version 4.7.0 exe. installation files is only 59Mb. Forumites using Basecamp should decide if the latest Basecamp version is what they need or not. My thought is that upgrades were made to improve something, not remove functionality. Should anyone need to revert because of losing the link to Google Earth or any other reason, you can get previous versions here http://gawisp.com/perry/mapsource/
