Traveling At Night Time

#5006

Post by Phillip Coetser »

Hi all, just a word of warning, be very vigilant when travelling at night time. Once again large rocks are being thrown from pedestrian bridges, that cross motorways, onto non suspecting motorists. A truck driver was killed at De Doorns, over the weekend in such an incident, and the truck cargo, was looted. Unfortunately, where these incidents occur, the area is not well lit, so the perpetrators use this to their advantage.
Rock throwing spots.....N1 De Doorns S33.4827023 E19.6758859, S33.48288 E19.67519, R59 Meyerton S26.54480 E28.00730, N12 Geldenhuys interchange S26.21391 E28.13320 and N3 at Alberton S26.29749 E28.16031,
