Morning all,
Thought i would throw this out there just to gauge opinions and thoughts.
I have a Garmin Drive Assist 51 LMT. Built in Dashcam and all that nice stuff.
Here is my "dilemma"
My car has Apple Carplay and is able to show Waze, Google Maps, Apple Maps etc on the 7" display screen.
I have wifi in the car so data is isn't a problem.
So what is everyone's thoughts on ditching the Drive Assist, getting a dashcam (Garmin 66 looks nice) and using the mapping software from the Phone?
At the very least, there will be one less device on my dash...
Should I Ditch my dash mounted GPS?

haha!!
By my understanding, the new garmin cams are the size of a carkey and can fit behind the rearview mirror.
Hence my statement if one less device on the dash.
Maybe i am too pedantic

If you are not using the RHD of the forum, go for it.
Rather just ditch the garmin into the cubbyhole for a while.

Hi Frans,
Ek het my gps handig gevind in daardie streke.
