Garmin Express Updates

Garmin began rolling out Garmin Express v7.8.0 for PC today. If you would like to update to the latest version, please visit “About” within the Settings of the Express application and select “Check for Updates to Express.”

This version includes the following changes:


Fixed an issue with users not being able to transfer maps from the internal storage to a SD card on the Manage Maps page.
Resolved an issue with devices being told there wasn’t sufficient space for an update, when the device had sufficient space.
Resolved a crash when attempting to register a Marine device that has already been registered.
Fixed an issue with Fleet devices not being detected by Express.
Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Hi all,
If your pressed for hard drive space, don't forget to clean out the GE installers, each of which takes up about 127 MB. They are to be found at C:ProgramData|Garmin|CoreService|Downloads|Application on a Windows 10 machine.

I keep two, the current operating version and the one prior to that.
