Looking for a driver

Hi, can anyone help me here, I want to use my old Garman E trex legend C, when I connect it to my PC working with windows 10 it registers as unknown device, but there is no driver, when I try to update to get a driver it cannot find a driver any advice how or where to download a driver I tried Garmin website no luck.

Hi Robert, with regards to your E trex legend C ,I assume you've connected the unit to the Garmin Express app, latest revision, from here.....https://www.techspot.com/downloads/6723 ... press.html Don't you have the original driver cd that the unit came with?....please read the attached E trex attachment, page 72, or alternatively, go here (https://static.garmin.com/pumac/eTrexLe ... Manual.pdf) to download the manual for your unit. I found this topic online, (https://www8.garmin.com/support/downloa ... jsp?id=591) for drivers.

Hi Philip, Thanks for your advice I tried loading via garmin express but it can not find my device,evan after I updated it, i installed trip and way points which I installed from the CD I got with the device, there I encountered a error see attachment, and I could not uninstall it, i ysed the windows 10 porblem finder which uninstalled the program, I tried to connect the device to my lap top which is still windows 7 and it worked so I copied the driver from my lap top to a usb and then installed it on my desk top, now it picks up the device and even garmin express picks it up, but thanks for your advice it helped me to try other possabilties.

Hi Robert, bly ek kon darem ietwat help, en bly dat jy reg gekom het. Ek stel voor dat jy maak n "full back up" van jou eenheid op jou rekenaar of laptop, vir toekomstige gebruik.
