There are also reports that on some versions of Windows 10 it does not update at all and in that instance, it wipes GE from your computer, and you will need to reinstall GE V7.24.0

Version V7.25 now available

I noticed that v7.25.0 did not pick up that the CN 2026.1 map update is available.
If you have the latest Garmin express version installed and GE show you are up to date, click on the refresh option and it will run the check for updates again and reflect on the screen.

Garmin Express v7.26.0 is available for PC today. If you would like to update to the latest version, please visit “About” within the Settings of the Express application and select “Check for Updates to Express.” This version includes the following changes:



Added the ability to install maps to the computer from the Manage Maps page.
Fixed an issue with non-universal/worldwide map devices displaying the Manage Maps option on the dashboard.
Fixed an issue on the device dashboard indicating updates are available after successfully completing the updates.
Other minor bug fixes and improvements.

Garmin Express v7.27.1 for PC is now available. If you would like to update to the latest version, please visit “About” within the Settings of the Express application and select “Check for Updates to Express.” This version includes the following changes:

Fixed an issue with the Pin Lock banner not displaying.
Fixed an issue with devices in Garmin mode not being detected.
Fixed an issue with widgets being re-ordered after a sync.

NOTE: The Garmin Updater scheduled task is reset so that it runs every day at 2 AM in the background. You can go into the Task Scheduler and disable it to prevent a build up of log files.
