GPSMAP 276Cx Firmware Upgrade 4.3 to 4.6 Apparent Failure

Yesterday I upgraded the software from v4.3 to 4.6.

This morning when I switched on the unit, the upgrade was completed.

Within a minute of switching on, the unit hangs.

It cannot be switched off on the On/Off button, and only can be restarted by removing the battery.

Rolling back to v4.3 might identify something in the upgrade to v4.6 or the version itself to be problematic.

Has anyone experience something similiar?

Should I try and role back to 4.3? I have located 4.3, but am not sure how this is loaded onto the unit.
