Every compatible Garmin has the full Cyclops safety camera database pre-loaded to notify you of speed limits on the road that you are travelling on and the presence of safety cameras. Keeping to the speed limit and being accident-free will make the roads a safer place and will help you maintain lower insurance premiums and avoid penalty points and fines too.
Most recent Garmin devices have Safety Cameras Updates installed, but for older Garmin units there is a trial period/or a paid subscription available, for your unit, but remember that the file is locked to only ONE GPS unit

Connect your Garmin device to the computer
Open Garmin Express
Select the device from the list
Select Add a Device If the device is not listed
Select Store
Once in the Store menu:
1. Choose your country and select Continue
2. Select Safety Cameras
3. Choose a subscription and select the price button.
4. Garmin Cyclops Subscription fee for South Africa is currently priced at R319.00
