COSATU NW condemns the increase on the toll gate 5 August 2013
The Congress of South African Trade Unions in the North West has learned with alarm that last week SANRAL and Bakwena increased the toll on the country’s most expensive toll gate at Swartruggens, from R71 to R75.The increase is being put in place after many African black workers and motorists have marched and handed over many memorandums to our government against the expensive toll gate. It is clear that our own government, at both the provincial and national level, has no interest in the poor working class. Their interest is to continue to make capitalists rich and themselves to benefit from the poor working class. -
