How to remove the gps-users-forum Facebook app.

Hi all,

I will be providing a step by step guide on how to remove the gps-users-forum Facebook app from a smartphone. This is intended to help with silencing the alerts via Facebook from the forum, without losing any other functionality in the smartphone Facebook app. Let's begin:-

Go to the Settings tab in the Facebook app on the smartphone as seen in the above picture.

Scroll down the list until Account Settings is visible as seen in the above picture. Tap on Account Settings.

Looking at the new list available, tap on the option Apps as seen in the above picture.

Under the Apps and Websites screen, tap on the Logged in with Facebook option as seen in the above picture.

On this screen, tap on the gps-users-forum option as seen in the above picture.

This screen shows what settings are being used by the app.

Scroll down on the current screen until the two buttons at the bottom are visible as seen in the above picture. Tap on the Remove App button.

Confirm the action by tapping on the Remove button as seen in the above picture.
