It's been awhile since I last visited and posted, but I back.
Regarding Maps and Basecamp. Wouldn't it be nice if we could use Google Maps instead and be able to transfer a planned route to your GPS like you can transfer it to your mobile device. Damn Garmin maps are sh.t. :

7Yes Swannie it's been a while.

Yes the City Navigator maps have been moving backwards at a steady rate. If I could add to the wish list would it not be nice to move back to the Garmap maps. They were produced locally and errors and problems we reported were attended to. Sometimes its took a bit long but all the problems I reported were fixed.

My daughter moved into a new house in Somerset West and it took me a couple of hours to locate address she gave me on my GPS and PC. I only managed that after I reverted back to The 2013.3 Garmap Map set on my PC. See the screen shots.

CN Decided to rename the street on their 2017 map release but forgot to tell the Somerset West municipality to do the same.
Even the open source free topo map display the correct street name.

Die straat wat verkeerd is is dit Abby road in Somerset Wes, as dit die een is stuur dit vir my ek probeer om op Here maps creator dit te verander.

Ja Robert die straat se naam is Abbey road maar sedert die 2017.1 update het hulle dit verkeerdelik verander na Villa Mont drive.

Abbey is a Crescent wat begin en eindig in Villa Mont Way.

Ek gaan kyk op Here Map Creator en daar wys die Straat as Abbey RD. Ek weet nie of iemand alreeds dit verander het nie en of die weergawe op map creator en die weergawe wat Garmin het verskil nie.

Dit klink goed. As ons dit so kan doen. Daar is heelwat klasifikasie probleme wat ons kan regmaak.
