Re: Naming and thanking thread.

I have a number of locations to add and also for removal (one's I have previously reported which are no longer operative). The problem is I am not familiar with the format you require for the coordinates. I have always used Sxx xx.xxx Exx xx.xxx which is the WGS 84 method displayed in MapSource and ...

Re: Conflict Between Activated Garmap and CN Maps

Unfortunately have not had time to get to Garmin, however the problem seems to have resolved itself after installing CN2014.1 - can only assume that 2013.4 was corrupted some how although the maps displayed correctly.

Sorry about delay.

Have tried the various steps, however there is no improvement. I will take it through to Garmin on my return home at the end of next week.

Will let you know what they do/recommend.

Re: Tom Tom

Try Bandit GPS on 011 708 6552. I have found they keep a good stock of accessories, both Garmin and Tomtom. They are based at Kya Sands near Randburg, however my son has ordered from them in the past and they have couriered the items to him.

Re: Road Conditions - March 2013

I understand that once they have completed the work (currently on-going) in Swartruggens they will be rehabilitating the road right through to Zeerust.
